I admit, I'm a bit of an umbrella snob. I like umbrellas with style. But the wind where I live can be ferocious, so I need an umbrella that is not intimidated by the weather.
So far, this umbrella has held up very well, and I love the whimsical yellow handle against the deep green fabric.

I bought this umbrella to replace another Leighton that I left on the bus. It's like night and day. The old umbrella was great, this one is junk. Avoid. On the first mildly windy day, it inverted and then the spines bent on two of the supports rendering it 80% functional if you don't mind looking like a homeless person with one of those pathetic broken umbrellas. Leighton may still make good umbrellas but this isn't one of them.

the umbrella i got was actually a rainkist, not a leighton. it looks exactly the same as the picture, but it is from a different manufacturer. i own another leighton and this is not the same quality, beware. i am giving it a 2 because is is actually an ok umbrella.

This umbrella is a nice quality .
It has a upscale look with it's wooden handle at a much more reasonable price than most others.
