i love this umbrella, its prefect! it works really well against the wind when it rains. the only thing is that i should have bought a bigger one, just cause i would want it to fit 2 people underneath it more comfortably and that opening and closing the umbrella might take some time to get use too especially if you have smaller hands.

I've had the GustBuster Classic umbrella for a relatively short time this Spring, but so far it has behaved admirably. The design does seem to help with wind issues. I'd never seen an umbrella with an extra layer before. I've used it a handful of times and haven't really had strong winds with which to contend. The solidity of construction is impressive. It doesn't appear that the spokes will bend and tear the umbrella, and it just feels really solid with wooden tips and a wooden handle.

So far, so good.

The actual performance of this umbrella in wind and rain is excellent. My problems are with the construction. The decorative ruffle near the tip was made too large and has come out from under the metal piece meant to hold it in place. My bigger problem is with the latch - the metal catch has worn through the plastic slide and it won't stay closed without the use of the strap. It started having problems between 12-16 months after purchase.
