1Falling apart after 2 uses  May 25, 2010
By DSB "DSB"
I have two complaints about this umbrella. First, it is shown in a blue pattern, yet the one I received from the seller was green and purple. Second, the tips of the umbrella (that hold the fabric to the metal "web") are made of plastic, and are all breaking off. I have only used the umbrella twice, and carry it around in my tote bag. Just normal wear and tear. I've had it about 2 months, and it is no good. That is pretty disappointing from a 30 dollar umbrella. To top it all off, I called Gustbuster (since it has a Gustbuster guarantee) who told me that if I pay to ship it back (at least 10 bucks) with an additional check for $10 they'll fix it or send me a new one. Not much of a guarantee.

5You'll never go back to ordinary umbrellas  May 16, 2010
By S. Mast
I have bought Gust Busters for myself and for others as gifts for years. It will make back its higher price many times over since a Gust Buster will NEVER blow inside out and fall apart. Ingenious design releases wind through openings inside the umbrella before it can wreak havoc with the umbrella spokes. Going online to buy one as a present, I had the pleasant surprise of discovering that they were now offering a Gust Buster in this attractive paisley design. I'd get that one for myself next, except that mine will never need replacing!

5GustBuster is fantastic  Apr 16, 2010
By Steph the Great
Fantastic umbrella, substantial feeling, not flimsy.
pretty blue, green look to the paisley.
it comes with a wonderful case that has a sling shoulder strap, very easy to bring along incase it rains.
Affordable price for a functional, durable "grown up" umbrella. I Love it!

5Sturdy green & purple umbrella  Jul 02, 2011
By Tom Jones
While the photo looks blue, this umbrella is a green and purple paisley. I've had it for 5 months and it's held up to strong winds that broke cheaper umbrellas. It packs up small in a backpack so it's easy to bring to work when there's a chance of thunderstorms.

1Broke like a $2 umbrella  Jan 14, 2011
By Marion Wilson Penn
I work downtown Manhattan and was seriously searching for an umbrella that would stand up to the rain and strong winds that occur there. I had so many broken umbrellas because (I thought) I only spent $2 on my umbrella(s) when purchased from street vendors. I finally decided to buy a good and expensive umbrella that would finally be an umbrella I could rely on. This umbrella broke after two uses, and it wasn't even that windy. I hate throwing money out of the window. Don't even think this umbrella is better than the junkie ones sold on the street corner.
